Fisker Of Orange County Confirms, Fisker Karma Production To Begin in March
January 20, 2011 – Irvine, Calif., – Fisker of Orange County confirms, Fisker Automotive regular production will start in March with deliveries expected to begin soon after.
Karma vehicles will be produced in Finland with the first deliveries predicted to be in April. Improvements are still being produced for its public unveiling.
The vehicle will have an all-electric range of 50 miles, as well as a 2-liter turbocharged engine, which powers the generator to charge the batteries.
“We’re looking forward to receiving the Karma at our dealership, as our customers have anticipated the release of the new model,” said Steve Rudkin, General Manager of Fisker of Orange County.
Karma was revealed three years ago, and is now estimated to build 15,000 Karmas this year.
New pricing has been released along with the new debut date of $95,900. Fisker still hopes to sell 15,000 of them in 2011.
